Manifesting Starts with a Seed
I’m sitting enjoying my cup of Egyptian Licorice tea, scrolling through my Facebook feed and I come across a meme that calls to me. The picture is of a tree (if you know me, you know I love trees) and it says, “This was once just a seed. What are you planting?”
Ironically, that just DID plant a seed to write this blog. That’s all it can take for me. I read, see or hear something and a topic comes up that draws me inward, to sit in contemplation and then expand upon the thought. I may be in meditation for just a few moments, enjoying the blissful connection to all that is. My mind is clear, I’m basking in the silence and a thought drops in from seemingly nowhere.
Sometimes it’s a thought that will take me in a new direction. Sometimes it’s the next step to take towards something I desire. Or, it’s an answer I have been seeking to resolve an old thought pattern or belief. Still, these are all seeds.
When I’m giving a workshop or coaching people on how to manifest something they desire in their life, some of the steps I share include:
Raising Your Vibration – Put on a song you love and dance around to it or sing it on top of your lungs. (I most often do this when I’m in the car – alone!) Close your eyes and recall one of the happiest times of your life. When you wake up each day, put your hand on your heart and say with enthusiasm, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for another amazing day!”
Affirmations – Use affirmations during meditation or say them out loud, to yourself or in front of a mirror. For example:
“Everything always works out for me.”
“Healthy relationships flow freely and abundantly to me.”
“Money comes to me in miraculous ways.”
“Everywhere I go, I find love. Life is joyous.”
“The natural flow of my life is bringing everything I desire.”
“I feel light and alive in my perfect body weight of 1×5.”
“Everything within me is healed, I am whole and perfect.”
“I love my positive, happy, abundant life.”
Visualize the End Goal – In your mind, see and feel how it will be to achieve your goal. Hold that feeling as long as you can. And then express gratitude for it, as if you already have it. “I am so grateful for the new clients I meet every day.” When you act ‘as if’ if you already have what you desire, it brings it to you faster.
Practice Gratitude Daily – Appreciating what you already have instead of what you don’t, is a powerful way to shift your thinking into the positive.
Start off by stating 3 things you are grateful for at the beginning or end of each day.
I’ve been doing this on and off for years and what I have found is the more I do this simple practice, the more I find to be grateful for.
Such small seeds sprout mighty trees.
